About The Role
Are you organised, customer-focused, and able to analyse complex information? Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a Parking Technician (Complaints & Appeals) to support the delivery of Civil Parking Enforcement across the county.
An opportunity has arisen within Parking Services for a Parking Technician (Complaints & Appeals), helping to administer parking enforcement processes, manage appeals and complaints, maintain parking databases, and ensure Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage parking-related complaints and appeals.
- Support the administration of Civil Parking Enforcement (Regulation 9 and Regulation 10 Penalty Charge Notices)
- Maintain parking databases, spreadsheets, and records.
- Process PCN payments and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Prepare cases for the Traffic Penalty Tribunal.
- Debt recovery reconciliation
- Provide professional responses to customer enquiries.
About You
- Strong IT and data handling skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills
- Experience within Parking or a similar service area is desirable
