Job Title: Hybrid Clinical Research Coordinator
Hours: 20 per week
Job Description
This part-time Clinical Research Coordinator role supports a clinical trial at a research site in the Oklahoma City, OK area. You will focus on identifying and recruiting eligible participants, educating them about the study, and helping ensure they remain engaged and compliant throughout the trial. The role requires strong clinical research experience, excellent organizational skills, and confident communication with both study participants and research staff.
This is a very flexible position. A majority of the hours will be completed remotely and the Clinical Research Coordinator will make their own schedule for the 20 hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient recruitment activities through community outreach efforts to increase awareness of the clinical trial.
- Partner with local clinics and medical professionals to generate patient referrals for the study.
- Educate healthcare providers about the clinical trial, including its objectives, procedures, and participant eligibility criteria.
- Pre-screen patients to determine eligibility based on study requirements and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Visit local community locations and attend community events to promote the study and engage potential participants.
- Explain study procedures and expectations to potential participants to support informed decision-making and ongoing engagement.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to patient recruitment and screening activities.
- Collaborate closely with research staff to ensure smooth coordination of participant enrollment and follow-up.
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and data handling.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- At least 2 years of experience in patient recruitment for clinical trials or clinical research studies.
- Hands-on experience with pre-screening patients for study eligibility.
- Training in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
- Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills for interacting with participants, providers, and research staff.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and research teams.
- Comfort with community outreach and public-facing engagement activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience conducting community outreach to support clinical trial recruitment.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with local clinics and medical professionals.
- Skill in educating healthcare providers and community members about clinical research and study participation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to communication.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
