Mendix Data & AI | Germany, Austria & Switzerland (DACH)

Role Summary

The Partner Management Executive will play a key role in rebuilding and accelerating indirect growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by developing a focused, high-performing ecosystem for the Siemens Mendix Data & AI portfolio. This is a commercially driven partner role focused on helping selected partners position, sell, and scale Mendix, AI, Data Analytics, and the ICX proposition, while aligning the appropriate resell, co-sell, and services motion to DACH enterprise and mid-market opportunities.

You will combine commercial drive, partner development experience, and strong relationship skills to improve the productivity of an established but fragmented partner landscape. The expectation is to take ownership of the DACH partner ecosystem, concentrate investment on partners with clear commitment and growth potential, build partner-led pipeline and ARR, and create strong account teams across partners, customers, and Siemens stakeholders.

To be successful, you should bring relevant partner management, channel sales, business development, or enterprise software experience, strong commercial and communication skills, an understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models, and the ability to operate confidently across the complex German, Austrian, and Swiss business environment. You should be comfortable creating clarity across overlapping partner, sales, pre-sales, business development, services, and renewal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Growth & Ecosystem Development

  • Develop and execute the DACH partner strategy for the Mendix Data & AI portfolio, with clear priorities by country, industry, customer segment, partner role, and commercial potential.
  • Drive partner-led pipeline, ARR growth, and new business acquisition through selected high-potential partners, with stronger pipeline visibility, forecast discipline, and mutual accountability.
  • Right-size and strengthen the existing DACH ecosystem by prioritizing partners with meaningful revenue, pipeline, customer access, industry relevance, and investment commitment, while selectively filling capability or coverage gaps.
  • Build partner capability and commitment around Low-Code, AI, Data Analytics, Agentic Transformation, and the ICX proposition, using regular QBRs and account-team rhythms to track progress, partner commitments, pipeline, and performance.
  • Go-To-Market & Business Development

  • Build focused joint business and territory plans with strategic and high-potential partners, defining target industries, accounts, partner roles, investment commitments, pipeline objectives, and measurable outcomes.
  • Create and execute joint go-to-market initiatives across DACH, connecting partners to Siemens named-account and industry motions where they add access, expertise, delivery capability, or resale potential.
  • Coordinate account mapping, partner campaigns, events, and opportunity sourcing with DACH sales, business development, marketing, pre-sales, services, and renewal teams.
  • Improve partner-led opportunity development, customer engagement, pipeline quality, deal ownership, and forecast visibility through a consistent operating rhythm and clear rules of engagement.
  • Partner Enablement & Adoption

  • Drive adoption of Siemens Data & AI solutions within partner organizations by aligning enablement to concrete opportunities, campaigns, target accounts, and partner capability gaps.
  • Coordinate business, sales, and technical enablement programs that help partners position, sell, and deliver the portfolio, while recognizing that not every partner will sell or implement every product.
  • Identify capability, sales-capacity, and delivery-readiness gaps and define practical development plans that support measurable partner growth and reliable customer execution.
  • Act as the bridge between partners and Siemens specialist organizations to accelerate portfolio adoption, partner readiness, and the appropriate use of resell, co-sell, co-delivery, or alliance motions.
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with partner leadership, sales, and delivery teams to restore alignment, accountability, and long-term commitment across the DACH ecosystem.
  • Influence stakeholders across customers, partners, and the wider Siemens DACH organization without direct authority.
  • Align sales, pre-sales, customer success, technical experts, services, renewals, marketing, business development, and partners around strategic opportunities and account teams.
  • Maintain clear ownership, rules of engagement, and Siemens representation across partner accounts, customer opportunities, regional teams, and relevant industry or partner events.
  • Required Experience:

  • You bring experience in partner management, channel sales, alliance management, business development, ecosystem development, or enterprise software sales, and are ready to take ownership of a complex partner ecosystem that requires focus, prioritization, and stronger execution.
  • You know how to build focused partner business and territory plans, turn strategy into measurable actions, and drive partner-led pipeline, ARR growth, and new business acquisition across multiple countries and industries.
  • You understand SaaS, recurring revenue models, partner economics, and how resell, co-sell, and services partners contribute differently to scalable software growth in an enterprise environment.
  • You are commercially sharp, structured, and confident in engaging stakeholders across partner leadership, partner sales and delivery teams, Siemens sales, pre-sales, business development, services, renewals, and specialist organizations.
  • Experience in enterprise software, cloud, AI, data analytics, digital transformation, or low-code platforms is preferred, particularly where this involved partner-led sales, services ecosystems, enterprise account engagement, or organizational transformation.
  • Required Regional, Language & Cultural Competencies:

  • You bring experience working in, or strong familiarity with, the DACH business environment and understand how to adapt the partner approach across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including different industries, customer segments, and local commercial dynamics.
  • You are able to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships across established partner networks, diverse business cultures, and a complex internal Siemens stakeholder environment.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English to support effective executive, partner, and customer engagement across the DACH region.
  • You are based in Germany, preferably within reach of a major Siemens location, and are able to travel regularly across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to stay close to partners, customers, and Siemens stakeholders.
