Job Summary:
The Partner Sales Manager, PPM, is a quota-carrying business development role for CDW’s strategic AI and data partners. This is a hands-on selling role responsible for converting the partner AI strategy and growth plays into booked revenue, including net-new logos, expansion, and services attach. This role will function as CDW’s go-to expert for the partner’s AI portfolio, translating partner AI capabilities and solutions into business outcomes, and bringing that expertise directly into live customer opportunities alongside CDW Sales teams. Success is measured by quota attainment, services, bookings, and deal expansion.
What you will do:
Sell:
- Own and attain a carried quota for the assigned AI partner business, delivering net-new logos, expansion, and services-attach revenue.
- Drive co-sell motions with partner sellers and CDW Sales to originate, advance, and close AI opportunities.
- Master the partner’s AI portfolio well enough to explain how it solves real customer problems and bring that expertise directly into live deals.
- Convert partner campaigns and field programs into qualified AI pipeline.
- Partner with CDW account managers and sellers to identify and qualify customer opportunities for the partner’s solutions.
- Manage your pipeline through the full sales cycle, from qualification to close.
Business Management:
- Apply partner intelligence and account data to prioritize the deals most likely to close and expand.
- Forecast pipeline and revenue accurately and manage pipeline coverage against quota.
- Own deal-level economics on closed deals, including blended margin, rebates, and services attach.
- Communicate market shifts, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence back to partner development teams to sharpen the strategy and plays.
- Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations or client sites.
What we expect of you:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience selling technology, OR 9+ years of experience selling technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM (Salesforce), and relevant business applications.
- Strong understanding of the AI and data technology market and outcome based full stack solution selling.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
- Proven track record of carrying and attaining a sales quota, including net-new logo acquisition, account expansion, and co-sell execution.
Pay range: $67,000-94,000 depending on experience and skill set
