About Been There:
Been There is a UK charity providing safe, one-to-one peer support for adults affected by eating disorders and body image challenges.
Through our trained volunteer Peer Mentors, we connect people with someone who has lived through similar experiences, helping them feel understood, supported and less alone.
We've spent the last few years building strong foundations: a clinically supported service, robust safeguarding processes, an experienced volunteer network and a digital platform designed to safely deliver peer support.
Now we're entering our next stage of growth.
We're looking for an exceptional Partnerships, Communications & Marketing Manager to help us reach more people, build meaningful partnerships and establish Been There as the UK's leading peer support charity.
The Opportunity:
This isn't a traditional marketing role.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and creating communications that inspire people to take action.
You'll work directly with the CEO, helping shape Been There's voice while leading the partnerships, communications and marketing activity that helps us recruit volunteers, support more people, increase awareness and strengthen fundraising.
This is an opportunity to build something.
As Been There grows, you'll help shape the communications function, line manage our Volunteer Content Creator and play a key role in how the charity develops over the coming years.
What you'll help us achieve:
Over the next 12 months you'll help us:
