Location: Toronto preferred / remote first, with in-person attendance required for Toronto Tech Week and other key meetings and events
Reports to: Executive Director of Toronto Tech Week
Start Date: Fall 2026
Toronto Tech Week is a community-led, decentralized event series showcasing Toronto as a global hub of technology, creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Each year, thousands of founders, investors, operators, builders, executives, and community leaders gather across the city for hundreds of independently hosted events — each designed to foster meaningful connections, spark new ideas, and amplify Canadian innovation on the world stage.
In 2026, TTW brought together 30,000+ attendees, 600+ events, 700+ hosts, 35 neighbourhoods, and 800+ speakers, making it the largest grassroots tech gathering in Canada. TTW also generated over 233 million media impressions and made international headlines in publications such as Forbes, Fortune, BetaKit, Bloomberg, and more.
As we build toward Toronto Tech Week 2027, we are focused on creating a more sustainable, high-impact platform for partners, hosts, sponsors, and the broader Toronto tech ecosystem for 2027 and beyond.
We’re looking for a Partnerships Lead to lead sponsor and partner relationships for Toronto Tech Week 2027.
This person will play a key role in helping TTW build a sustainable partnership model, support sponsor success, manage partner communications, and ensure that every sponsor and in-kind partner has a clear, thoughtful, and professional experience from first conversation through post-event wrap.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Director and broader TTW team to manage sponsor obligations, support partner activations, prepare external-facing materials, coordinate webinars and partner touchpoints, and help bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving, community-driven organization.
This is a relationship-first role for someone who understands sponsor and partner management, communicates exceptionally well, loves building systems, and brings the energy, professionalism, and fun that make TTW special.

- Help identify opportunities to strengthen sponsor value across TTW programming, communications, webinars, host engagement, and official events.
- Coordinate partner approvals, brand assets, speaker details, event copy, and other sponsor-related materials.
- Support the preparation and management of sponsor agreements, partnership summaries, invoices, and fulfillment documentation.
- Create and update sponsor-facing presentation decks, partner overviews, onboarding materials, and activation documents.
- Work in Canva, Google Slides, Notion, and Google Workspace to develop polished, clear, and brand-aligned materials.
- Help prepare sponsor recap reports and post-event summaries, including key metrics, screenshots, event highlights, and partner outcomes.
- Ensure partner records are accurate, organized, and accessible across TTW systems.
- Coordinate partner webinars, virtual briefings, and sponsor information sessions from setup to execution.
- Manage partner-related logistics, including registration pages, run of show, speaker coordination, reminders, follow-ups, and recap materials.
- Support sponsor activations, curated gatherings, official TTW events, and other partner-led experiences.
- Work with the Operations Lead to ensure partner-related details are accurately reflected across Luma, newsletters, host communications, and internal trackers.
- Work closely with the Executive Director, Operations Lead, marketing support, event hosts, and external partners.
- Help translate sponsor needs into clear internal tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Keep the team informed of partner priorities, risks, deadlines, and upcoming obligations.
- Bring a calm, organized, solutions-oriented approach to a fast-paced and evolving event environment.
- 2+ years of successful partnership, sponsorship, account management, business development, or client relationship experience.
- Strong understanding of sponsor and partner relations, including fulfillment, communication, stewardship, and relationship-building.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — warm, clear, professional, and polished.
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables at once.
- Experience creating decks, partner materials, reports, and external-facing documents.
- Strong working knowledge of Canva, Notion, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to follow through without constant direction.
- A genuine interest in Toronto’s tech, startup, venture, and innovation ecosystem.
- A dynamic, positive, collaborative attitude. TTW is a fun team, and we’re looking for someone who brings both professionalism and great energy.
