We’ve recently secured investment to accelerate the next stage of growth at Perform - and we’re looking for someone brilliant to build our strategic partnerships channel.
We’ve already started to explore and build partnerships and can see a significant opportunity. Now we want someone whose job it is to own that opportunity and turn it into a scalable commercial channel.
And to be clear: this isn’t partnerships that means co-branded webinars, swapping logos and hoping a few referrals come our way. This is a commercial role.
We want to build partnerships with organisations across the People, talent, leadership and learning ecosystem that create genuine value on both sides, and generate revenue.
What you'll actually do - You'll own our partnership channel from strategy through to revenue, that means personally:
• Identifying and prioritising high-potential strategic partners
• Opening conversations and building senior commercial relationships
• Developing propositions that make commercial sense for both sides
• Testing and refining partnership and commercial models
• Negotiating and closing partnerships
• Onboarding and activating partners
• Building partner-generated pipeline and recurring revenue
• Learning what works and turning it into a repeatable growth channel
This is a senior individual-contributor role. You may have managed people previously, but you won't be joining Perform to sit above a team. We need someone senior enough to shape the strategy and experienced enough to know what good looks like, but who still loves being the person actually making it happen.
We'd love to meet you if…
You've personally built and grown B2B commercial partnerships before, and when we say personally, we mean it.
You've identified the opportunity, opened the door, pitched the proposition, worked through the commercials, got the deal signed, and then made sure the partnership actually generated something.
You're commercially minded and are as comfortable talking revenue, margin and closing as you are building relationships.
Experience within HR/People, L&D, leadership development, consultancy, recruitment/talent or People tech would be a real advantage. An existing network across the People and talent ecosystem would be even better.
Most importantly, you're a builder - you like taking an opportunity, getting close to the market and turning it into something repeatable and commercially meaningful. We're less interested in how many partnerships you've signed than what happened after you signed them.
About Perform
Perform is a behavioural insight and management development platform helping organisations make better people decisions - from who they hire to how they lead, manage and develop their people.
Our behavioural profiling gives organisations deeper insight into candidates, managers and teams, while our management development platform turns that insight into practical, personalised support managers can use in the moments they actually need it.
We're already working with thousands of users and have recently secured investment to accelerate our growth. You'll join at an exciting point in that journey, with a huge amount of ownership and the opportunity to build one of our core growth channels.
£40,000–£50,000 base + commission
This is a remote UK-based role and we're open on location and much more interested in finding the right person than the right postcode.
