Desert Ant Labs is an on-device AI lab in Europe. We're building efficient frontier intelligence, bottom up. We make the fastest model for each task, built to run on the billions of phones, laptops, and browsers people already own. Every model is lightning fast and private, and has no per-call cost. Little brains in every product.

With our native SDKs for Swift, Kotlin, and JavaScript, you add a model to an app in a few lines of code. Data stays with your customer, and the feature works without a cloud provider. Every role here pushes the limits of what a phone or a laptop can do.

About the role

You work on our partner pipeline: platform vendors, workflow and app-building tools, European inference hosts, and apps with large user bases. You work with the founders on pricing, deals, and the largest partnerships. The goal is partners shipping features that run on their users' devices or their own servers instead of a cloud.

The work is hands-on. You find partners, run the calls, write the proposals, and follow each integration until it launches.

Our models run on the user's phone or laptop, so a partner's user data never leaves it. For partners who need a server, our models also run on European inference hosts. Customers often name data sovereignty first.

What you will do

• Build and run the partner pipeline, from the first call to a launched integration.
• Demo our models and explain on-device inference to technical buyers.
• Work with the founders on pricing and terms.
• Report what partners ask for to the model and SDK teams.
• Write short updates that partners can forward inside their company.
• Travel to partners across Europe, and to the US for large deals.

You might be a fit if you

• Have built partnerships at a developer platform or infrastructure company, from the first call to a signed deal that launched.
• Come from venture capital or a technical consultancy instead, and know how tech companies decide what to build and buy.
• Can demo a model and explain on-device inference to a CTO without notes.
• Know the European tech industry, and why data sovereignty matters to European companies.
• Have been the only person in a function, doing the prospecting, the calls, and the paperwork yourself.
• Write short, clear updates.

Bonus points

• Worked in partnerships at an AI platform, an app builder, or a mobile SDK company.
• Know people at European platform and app companies.

How we work

We're a small, flat team, and we build the models, the SDKs, and the apps that use them. Detail and Subwave, our own apps, run our models in production.

Start what needs starting without waiting to be asked, and finish what you start. Take on work outside your role when a project needs you.

We ship quickly, so we cut scope until only the part users notice is left. Anyone can comment on your work or redo your draft, and we say early when work isn't ready. We read that feedback as help.

We judge the work by what shipped and what changed because of it. Nobody counts hours.
