About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, curious, and interested in learning how payments move behind the scenes at a financial institution? Do you enjoy researching transactions, solving problems, and making sure the details are right?

As our Payment Services Specialist I, you'll support the day-to-day operations that keep member payments moving accurately and efficiently. This is a developing payments operations role where you'll build experience across multiple payment functions, including ACH, wires, mobile RDC and ATM deposits, share drafts, returns, and other payment services.

You'll process routine transactions, research payment activity, resolve operational exceptions within your authority, and learn when to escalate more complex or higher-risk situations. Along the way, you'll develop valuable knowledge of payment-system controls, regulatory requirements, transaction risk, processing deadlines, and exception management.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. You'll be comfortable following established procedures and internal controls while researching transactions, communicating clearly, and managing time-sensitive processing responsibilities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with financial services, operations, or payment-processing experience who wants to deepen their knowledge of money movement and build a career in payments. The role requires at least one year of relevant financial services, operations, or payment-processing experience.

If you're a collaborative team player who enjoys digging into the details, learning new processes, and helping deliver a reliable member experience, we'd love to hear from you!
