Payments Compliance Analyst

About This Job We are seeking a tech-forward Payments Compliance Analyst to execute and optimize our compliance operations. This role handles core merchant underwriting, annual reviews, administrative modifications, and BSA/AML alert investigations with a focus on speed, accuracy, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do… Merchant Underwriting: Conduct due diligence. Identify ways to automate and accelerate the onboarding flow. Annual Merchant Reviews: Perform annual compliance reviews and handle merchant outreach. Iterate on tracking and communication methods to reduce manual effort. Administrative Modifications: Process bank account changes BSA/AML Case Disposition: Analyze BSA/AML alerts with an investigative mindset Customer Outreach: Maintain professional communications with Customers to resolve compliance issues Process Automation & Optimization: Audit daily routines to identify bottlenecks and repetitive tasks. Leverage AI tools to help scale team operations. What You Bring Inquisitive mindset with a strong drive to analyze, streamline, and automate processes. Tech-forward orientation; comfortable experimenting with AI tools, workflow tools, and new software to boost productivity. High attention to detail with an ability to spot patterns and edge cases. Excels at repetitive, meticulous work You’ll Get… We are targeting a starting salary of $64,000 - $86,000 based on the intended level for this role.
