As Payroll and HR Administrator, you will own weekly payroll for our US workforce across multiple states, keeping it compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. You'll work closely with HR and Finance to resolve employee pay questions, keep payroll records accurate, and help with recruiting and training.
What You Will Do
- Process weekly multi-state payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage wage garnishments (including support orders, tax levy's, or other garnishments)
- Enter new-hire and termination data in ADP Workforce Now and audit entries for accuracy
- Prepare weekly and monthly payroll reports for HR and Finance
- Answer employee and manager payroll questions
- Schedule interviews and support recruiting
- Identify process improvements and implement compliance updates
- Perform administrative tasks in the learning management system
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Help coordinate engagement and training events
What You Will Bring
- Associate's degree and at least 5 years of multi-state payroll experience, or at least 7 years of multi-state payroll experience without a degree
- Hands-on experience in ADP Workforce Now, including Payroll, Smart Compliance, G/L, Analytics, Custom Reporting, and iReports
- Experience with ADP Performance and Goals modules preferred
- Ability to build Excel reports using pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and formulas to analyze and reconcile payroll data
- Track record of meeting weekly payroll deadlines across multiple states with minimal supervision
- Ability to review and manage calendars
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically for training, audits, or site support
