Payroll Coordinator - Temp to Hire

Division/Program:

Long Beach Corporate Office

Starting Compensation:

24.00 - 28.75 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Remote | California Residence Preferred

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday-Friday 7:30 AM -4:00 PM | PST Required

What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications)

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting (Degree or vocational school diploma preferred).

  • Certifications: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) preferred.

  • Experience: Five (5) years of payroll and/or accounting experience.

  • Systems: Workday payroll experience required.

How You Make a Difference (Job Overview)

As the Payroll Coordinator, you will partner directly with the Payroll Director to ensure the accurate, confidential, and timely processing of our bi-weekly payroll. Because accuracy and timeliness are vital to safeguarding the company's legal and economic standing, you will manage payroll operations while interacting regularly with staff members, vendors, and external agencies.
