We are on the hunt for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team, based in Brisbane on a fixed-term contract for 12 Months.
This role offers the perfect blend of flexibility with two days in the office and three days remote work.
We are looking for a candidate who is not only willing and eager to learn but also takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of self-motivation. This role will assist the Payroll team in delivering our ANZ Payroll and will be dedicated to efficient and effective payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing for Egis Group’s Australian entities
- End-to-end payroll support as needed for our New Zealand business
- Support payroll improvements, system enhancements and process efficiencies
- Handle payroll inquiries and effectively communicate with stakeholders across various departments
- Month end reporting, inclusive of PAYG, Superannuation, long service leave calculations, reconciliations, payroll analysis, leave audit and any other associated reporting
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in full function payroll within a professional services environment. In addition, you will also have:
- Relevant qualifications in HR or Finance
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll for Australia and New Zealand
- Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- Advanced Excel skills
- Definitiv and Oracle strongly desired
- Familiarity with Micropay
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Team player, self-motivated and highly organised
- Good verbal and written communication skills
