What you'll do Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across Docusign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in Docusign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract role supporting the EMEA payroll team in a global payroll transformation project. Docusign is moving payroll for all companies to a single platform and standardising its payroll processes in line with best practice. As a payroll project analyst, you will work closely with the Payroll System Implementation Lead (EMEA) to deliver a successful implementation for the region. You will take ownership of key activities such as user acceptance testing (UAT), pay element configuration, data preparation and validation, and project coordination. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for an experienced payroll professional with strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience delivering payroll system implementation work in a multinational environment. This is a fixed term contract role for 18 months of duration. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Payroll System Implementation Lead – EMEA. Responsibility Play a pivotal role in the EMEA payroll project team, as Docusign transitions all of its individual country payrolls from multiple international vendors to a single global provider Take responsibility for payroll system implementation activities Design, prepare and execute UAT test cases and scripts Capture test results, log defects and follow through to resolution Perform data validation and system reconciliation activities Prepare and execute cutover and go-live readiness tasks Work on configuration of pay elements ensuring alignment with EMEA payroll requirements Prepare and maintain high-quality data files and templates for testing and implementation (employee data, pay element mappings, time and attendance feeds, etc) Validate that configuration and processes meet EMEA statutory requirements and internal policies, proactively identifying and escalating issues and proposing solutions Collaborate with internal stakeholders like HR, Finance, Benefits, Stock and technical teams as well as external vendors to support integrations and ensure data accuracy across systems Contribute to documentation of payroll processes, procedures, and controls related to the new system Support change management and training efforts by preparing clear guidance materials, reference documents and FAQs for internal stakeholders Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data and follow all data protection and information security requirements Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. What you bring Basic 3rd Level Degree 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment Experience with multinational payroll including Ireland and UK Experience with markets such as Germany, France, Italy and other EMEA countries Experience with payroll system implementation or payroll project work (e.g. change of payroll system, change of payroll vendor, testing, parallel runs, or configuration support) Experience with Excel, Google Sheets and working with data (e.g. templates, uploads, reconciliations) Experience working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Experience managing multiple tasks, taking ownership of deliverables, following through on actions and meeting deadlines Preferred Professional payroll qualification (Certificate in Payroll Techniques, IPASS or CIPP/CPP) Experience with or exposure to tools such as Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Workday, Oracle or other payroll/HR systems Stock payroll (RSUs, options, ESPP) related experience Experience working as part of a geographically dispersed team A strong problem solver and critical thinker with initiative, who can take ownership, drive issues to resolution and deliver results Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with a high commitment to data accuracy Clear, concise communication skills Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working in a changing project environment, with a problem-solving mindset and strong initiative Life at DocuSign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
