Statutory Accountant

Your job Indeed’s Global Statutory Reporting team is seeking an accountant to join our growing team. The purpose of this role is to make sure that Indeed’s Statutory reporting financial statements are presented accurately and in a timely fashion. Who you are Support statutory audit and financial statement processes by preparing ETBs, documenting adjustments, and organizing support for internal and external review. Use and help administer financial reporting platform across assigned entities, including data validation initiatives and SQL query development, to streamline and automate statutory reporting. Candidates must be tech-savvy with excellent AI/automation aptitude; experience building SQL queries or related data manipulation experience is a must. Prepare and submit statutory surveys, returns, and related regulatory filings across assigned entities and jurisdictions. Run, compile, and analyse financial data from Workday and other source systems, including EIB uploads and reconciliations, to support statutory reporting and survey requirements. Maintain, update, and review working files, reconciliations, mappings, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions. Manage review and approval workflows, and maintain desktop procedures, trackers, and filing documentation to support process consistency, knowledge transfer, and audit readiness. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, and experience. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. Compensation may also vary based on where a role is performed, as work locations are grouped into geographic pay tiers to reflect cost of labor differences in different geographic markets. Salary Range Transparency The base salary range for this role is €48,000 - €72,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package includes a performance-based quarterly bonus and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
