Payroll Specialist

Our Kerry based Accountancy practice clients are recruiting a Payroll Manager. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant and timely payroll services while supporting clients and driving continuous process improvements. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering Hybrid working week, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing in line with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
• Ensure accurate payroll calculations, statutory payments, pensions and deductions.
• Provide payroll advice on PAYE, PRSI, USC, BIK, ERR, redundancy and statutory leave.
• Build strong client relationships and respond to payroll queries efficiently.
• Support and mentor payroll team members while monitoring deadlines and quality.
• Improve payroll processes, controls and cloud-based systems.
• Assist with onboarding new payroll clients and monitor payroll profitability.

Skills & Experience

• Strong Irish payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and compliance.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• IPASS qualification desirable.
