Payroll Specialist (Social Insurance Certified)

Role Description The Payroll Specialist (Social Insurance Certified) is a full-time remote role responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients. Day-to-day tasks include calculating wages, overtime, and deductions; managing garnishments; and ensuring accurate and timely payroll runs in line with local regulations and company policies. The Payroll Specialist will oversee social insurance-related calculations and submissions, maintain up-to-date payroll records, and prepare reports for internal and client stakeholders. The role also involves responding to payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies, collaborating with HR and finance teams, and supporting continuous improvement of payroll procedures and controls.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in payroll administration and payroll processing, with experience managing regular and off-cycle payroll runs.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll services, including statutory reporting, filings, and compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
• Experience handling garnishments and other complex payroll deductions in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Recognized social insurance certification and practical experience managing social insurance contributions and related processes.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems; strong Excel skills and attention to numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple client deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business, or a related field preferred; prior experience in outsourced or multi-country payroll is an advantage.
