Payroll Support
Remote RavenOur client is an established commercial electrical contractor based in Arizona, with a field workforce of several hundred. Every week, hundreds of electricians, apprentices, and field crews submit their hours from jobsites across the state, and someone has to make sure every one of those hours is complete, coded to the right job, and entered correctly before the pay run goes out. That someone is this role. It sits inside the payroll and HR operations team, reports to the payroll supervisor, and is the point where questionable data stops and correct data goes through. It is called data entry, and it is far more than that. The client is clear about this: they are looking for a true team player with an all-hands-on-deck mindset. They do not believe in people who only do what is in their job description. They believe in people who look around, see what needs to be done, and step up. If the team needs help, you help. If something is outside your normal lane but within your ability, you take it on. It is a fast-moving company, and they need someone who is flexible, resourceful, and genuinely invested in the team’s success. The role runs on Arizona business hours. Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, so once you settle into the schedule, it stays fixed all year. Payroll deadlines recur every pay period without exception, and the client says plainly that payroll errors have real consequences for real people. That is the level of care this role takes and the reason it takes a particular kind of person.
