An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Payroll Systems Administrator to join a well-known, fast-growing organisation with operations across Australia.
This permanent role will see you supporting the performance, stability and ongoing optimisation of payroll and workforce systems within a large, high-volume environment.
Based in the Melbourne CBD, the role offers excellent flexibility with 3 days working from home.

The Opportunity
You’ll play an important role in ensuring payroll systems operate accurately and efficiently, while supporting the broader payroll function across system administration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Payroll, HR and IT teams, you’ll assist with resolving system issues, maintaining system integrity and contributing to system upgrades, optimisation and broader payroll transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration and support across payroll and workforce systems
• Monitor payroll systems to maintain stability, functionality and data integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting payroll processing and pay close
• Maintain system configurations, employee data, workflows and payroll-related settings
• Support system testing, upgrades, enhancements and implementation activities
• Investigate payroll system errors and work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues
• Assist with payroll system reconciliations, reporting and data validation
• Contribute to continuous improvement and payroll transformation initiatives
• Partner closely with Payroll, HR and IT stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational requirements
• Maintain accurate system documentation, processes and procedures

About You

• 3+ years previous experience as a Payroll Systems Administrator, Payroll Systems Analyst or in a similar payroll systems-focused position
• Must have strong hands-on experience working with PayGlobal
• Sound understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and how payroll systems support accurate payroll delivery
• Experience working within a large, complex or high-volume payroll environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• High attention to detail and confidence working with payroll data
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Payroll, HR and IT teams
