Function: This role serves as a trusted advisor to residential builders and trade contractors, helping clients navigate complex commercial insurance exposures, optimize coverage strategies, and maintain compliance across evolving construction projects. Requirements: 5+ years of commercial P&C account management or account executive experience Strong understanding of General Liability, Builders Risk, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Inland Marine, and Workers' Compensation coverage Experience with ACORD forms and AMS platforms Proven client retention and book-of-business management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Construction, builder-risk, or homebuilding insurance experience preferred Knowledge of structural warranty programs preferred Industry designations such as CIC, CISR, or CRM preferred Experience mentoring junior staff is a plus Description: Manage and retain a portfolio of builder and contractor insurance accounts Conduct annual client strategy reviews and identify coverage gaps proactively Review contracts, subcontractor agreements, and risk transfer documentation Coordinate renewals, endorsements, and policy servicing activities Partner with internal operations and support teams to ensure SLA compliance Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation within AMS systems Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to expand account revenue Assist with training and mentorship of junior team members Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and client service initiatives
