Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Pediatric Endocrinologist or Pediatrician with a focus on endocrine and metabolic disorders. The clinician will provide virtual consultations, follow-up care, and ongoing management for pediatric patients with conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth concerns, and other endocrine issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic results, developing and adjusting treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other specialists when needed. The role also involves patient and family education on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence, as well as documentation of encounters and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams. The position requires adherence to clinical guidelines, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and effective use of telemedicine platforms to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical foundation in Medicine, with experience in pediatric care and chronic disease management.
  • Specialized expertise in Pediatric Endocrinology and Endocrinology, including diagnosis and treatment of pediatric hormonal and metabolic disorders.
  • Specific knowledge in Diabetes care, including insulin management, continuous glucose monitoring, and patient education for children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with Cardiology considerations in endocrine and metabolic conditions, and ability to coordinate with cardiovascular specialists when appropriate.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Endocrinology, with an active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one in relevant jurisdictions).
  • Experience or comfort with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records, and remote patient monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to children, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equitable, patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and ethical clinical practice.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues and support staff.
