Pensions Calculations Engineer

We are looking for a Pensions Calculation Engineer to join our pensions technology team. In this role you will help develop, configure and support the calculation engines that underpin our pensions administration platforms used by public sector organisations and pension funds. This is a technically focused position combining software development, data analysis and pensions calculation expertise to ensure our platforms deliver accurate, reliable and scalable calculation functionality. You will work closely with product teams, implementation specialists and pensions experts to translate regulatory and business requirements into robust calculation logic and system functionality. What you will do to be successful in this role Develop, configure and maintain pensions calculation functionality within Civica’s pensions administration platforms. Translate business and regulatory requirements into reliable technical calculation logic. Design and maintain SQL queries to support pensions data processing and calculations. Perform testing and validation of calculation changes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support implementations, system upgrades and product enhancements in collaboration with product, project and engineering teams. Troubleshoot and resolve calculation or data issues, providing ongoing technical support. Maintain clear documentation and follow development, release and quality standards.
