At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Pensions Delivery Specialist to support the effective administration and delivery of pension scheme activity, ensuring colleagues and stakeholders receive an accurate, efficient and professional service.

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of pension administration processes, working closely with internal teams, pension providers, advisers and key stakeholders to ensure pension-related activity is delivered accurately, compliantly and in line with scheme requirements.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of pension administration processes, ensuring all activity is completed accurately and in accordance with pension scheme rules and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension arrangements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, payroll teams, pension providers and third-party administrators to resolve queries and maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain accurate member and scheme records, ensuring pension data is managed confidentially and in line with GDPR and pensions legislation.
  • Support the review, reconciliation and processing of pension-related information, identifying and escalating discrepancies or risks where required.
  • Provide clear and professional guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on pension queries, scheme processes and member benefits.
  • Assist with pension governance activities, data validation exercises and pension administration projects as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pension administration processes and member experience.
Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience working within pensions administration, trustee services, pension consultancy or an in-house pensions function.
  • Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) and/or Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes.
  • Good understanding of pensions legislation, auto-enrolment requirements and pension administration best practice.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately when handling complex pension data and numerical information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse, reconcile and manage data effectively.
What We're Looking For
  • A confident communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal teams, pension providers, advisers and colleagues across the business.
  • Someone highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to identify risks, resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
  • An understanding of pension governance, member communications and regulatory requirements would be beneficial.
  • A professional and confidential approach when handling member information and pension-related matters.
  • A genuine interest in delivering excellent outcomes for pension scheme members and stakeholders.
