The People Analytics Analyst supports the accurate, timely and secure delivery of people data, reporting and analytics products. The role maintains assigned reports, dashboards and automated processes, contributes to data quality and governance, and provides clear analysis of workforce trends.
Working collaboratively with People Analytics, HR and Technology colleagues, the Analyst helps make people data and reporting more reliable, accessible and scalable.

Working collaboratively with People Analytics, HR and Technology colleagues, the Analyst helps make people data and reporting more reliable, accessible and scalable.
What you will be doing:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, integrate and validate people data from HR and related systems.
- Deliver assigned recurring reports, dashboards and KPI outputs accurately and on time.
- Maintain and improve analytics products, scripts, data feeds and automated processes.
- Investigate data and reporting issues, identify root causes and support improvements at source.
- Contribute to data governance, standardisation, documentation and quality controls.
- Provide descriptive analysis and communicate findings, trends and data limitations clearly.
- Manage approved access to sensitive reports and dashboards, handling confidential data appropriately.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and support practical data and reporting solutions.
- Contribute to People data, systems and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain documentation and share knowledge to support continuity across the team.
- The accuracy, quality and timely delivery of assigned datasets, reports and dashboards.
- Operational reliability and maintainability of assigned scripts, flows, models, dashboards and data feeds.
- The secure handling of people data and appropriate administration of access.
- Clear documentation and timely escalation of risks, limitations and delivery issues.
- Delivery of agreed work within established priorities, standards and controls.
Technical and data capability:
- Demonstrable experience managing, manipulating and validating large or complex datasets, including data that may be non-standard, incomplete or changing.
- Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, macros, together with competent PowerPoint skills.
- Competent with Python for data preparation, transformations, report generation and automation.
- Strong Power BI skills for end to end dashboard development, and with Power Automate for workflow automation and data pipelines.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI concepts for dashboard design.
- Understanding of data structures, data modelling concepts/relational datasets, data feeds or pipelines, data quality.
- Working knowledge of data governance concepts and RACI.
- Experience maintaining recurring reporting processes, python scripts, dashboards or automated data products and troubleshooting changes in upstream data.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms, such as SAP SuccessFactors or BambooHR is useful, and awareness of common HR data domains such as people operations, talent acquisition, learning, and reward, is desirable.
- Ability to translate defined business questions into data requirements and a structured analytical approach.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous or incomplete data, using context and judgement to validate results.
- Ability to assess feasibility, effort, ongoing maintenance and value when considering reporting or product changes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, quality and control.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain data, assumptions and limitations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience gathering stakeholder requirements, managing expectations and documenting processes.
- Organised and able to prioritise multiple deadlines across high-volume, time-sensitive reporting cycles.
- Able to manage defined tasks and recurring work with appropriate independence, while recognising when to seek guidance or escalate.
- Sound understanding of the confidentiality and access-control requirements associated with People data.
