Purpose and Job Summary
We are looking for a People & Culture Co-op Student to join our team for a hands-on learning experience supporting employee programs, compliance, reporting, and process improvement.
In this role, you will contribute to accessibility compliance, employee engagement follow-up, and People & Culture reporting while building practical HR experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. You will work closely with the People & Culture team and cross-functional partners to create tools and documentation that improve the employee experience and strengthen how we work.
things you will do…
- Support the Organic Meadow AODA compliance project by maintaining trackers, organizing evidence, reviewing documentation, and coordinating follow-up actions.
- Assist with employee engagement survey participation tracking, communications, focus group coordination, and action-planning materials.
- Compile and validate workforce information for recurring People & Culture dashboards, including recruitment, vacancies, turnover, and other key metrics.
- Prepare meeting notes, project updates, presentations, and communications for People & Culture and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identify practical improvement opportunities and complete a final project summary with recommendations and reusable tools.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Currently enrolled in a third or fourth-year Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology program.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage trackers, documentation, and follow-up actions accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working collaboratively across teams.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; experience with HR systems, survey tools, or data reporting is an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the co-op term (Canadian Citizen or PR Holder)
- Must be enrolled in a recognized co-op or work-integrated learning program.
- This role is based on-site at the Burnaby Head Office and may involve occasional visits to other company locations.
