Samskip is a truly international company that innovates the most advanced sustainable and multimodal international transport solutions. With a turnover of more than 800 million euros, 1,450 employees and offices in 24 countries across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, we are one of the largest transport companies in Europe.
Within this structure, Samskip has shaped a comprehensive European network for short-sea, road, railrail, and inland waterway transport. This network provides pioneering sustainable, reliable and cost-effective options for the growing number of customers who demand more environmentally conscious logistics solutions.
As People Business Partner, you are the local People representative for Samskip's rapidly growing Shared Service Center in Romania. You serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all local People-related matters and act as the link between the Romanian organization and the Global People Team.
You ensure that local People processes are executed accurately and compliantly while supporting the continuous development of our employees and organization. While much of the administrative processing is performed by external providers, you will coordinate, review and validate these activities and gradually assume responsibilities currently carried out by local management.
Beyond operational responsibilities, you act as a trusted advisor for employees, helping to foster engagement, wellbeing, and a positive workplace culture.
As part of the Global People Team, you will also contribute to international People initiatives and projects, helping Samskip continue its journey towards a truly integrated global People organization.
