Objectives of this role / About the job:
To shape Finnomena's overall HR & People strategy. The People Director sets the stage for FINNOMENA to attract and retain the best of Thailand's wealthtech startup talent. As a key player to accomplish this goal alongside senior management, the People Director creates an environment that promotes staff well-being with a good atmosphere and a business culture with an emphasis on high growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead 3 key functions: People & HR, IT Infrastructure, and Procurement, ensuring effective operations and alignment with business objectives.
- Own people operations processes including performance review cycles, compensation reviews & planning, benefits, legal & regulatory compliance as it relates to employment.
- Develop and execute learning and development initiatives to drive a high-performance, high-growth mindset.
- Initiate, develop and implement recruitment & selection strategies and programs to ensure a qualified talent pool.
- Plan and lead staff activities to strengthen employee relations across the company and subsidiaries.
- Serve as a champion for company culture and core values across the organization.
- Develop and oversee programs to drive employee engagement and happiness.
- Be a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team, holding managers to a high-quality people management standard, including compliance and regulation bodies.
- Prepare and present key people matters to the Board of Directors (BOD) and assigned to be a Secretary of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC), including workforce planning, organizational structure, executive appointments, compensation, performance, succession planning, and other people-related matters.
- Coordinate and support BOD and NRC meetings on people-related agenda items, including preparation of proposals, supporting documents, meeting materials, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of HR / People experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience across key HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, L&D, employee engagement, and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in organizational development, culture building, and change management in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience overseeing IT Infrastructure and/or Procurement is an advantage.
- Strategic yet hands-on, with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- AI-driven in the HR field and willing to invent and innovate new HR tools, systems, and related infrastructure.
