About Acoustic

Acoustic is built on the belief that people can feel when a brand is paying attention. We help marketers read what their customers actually do and respond in the moment. The same idea applies to our team.

Our colleagues work across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ, and they notice when the details are right. Our People team is small and scrappy, so you’ll see the impact of your work and build the systems behind it.

About the role

As our People Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the face of Acoustic and our People team to candidates, new hires, and employees navigating questions about benefits and processes. Our People team is lean, and you’ll have the opportunity to partner on programs that reach employees in every country we operate in. Day to day, you’ll own the execution behind our HR systems, hiring, onboarding and offboarding, benefits and performance cycles.

While Acoustic is remote, our Head of People (Americas) is based in Atlanta, so you’ll have opportunities for in-person working as you grow in your role.

What you’ll do

  • Own our HR Tech Stack (BambooHR, Workable, CultureAmp): process employee data changes, run regular audits, and keep data squeaky clean and compliant across countries. You’ll help drive workflow improvements and keep up with new features that can help us work smarter.
  • Recruiting Support: Help schedule interviews, keep candidates updated, send offer letters, manage background checks, and make sure stakeholders are up-to-date on open roles.
  • Manage the HR inbox: answer employee questions about benefits and documents, as well as process employment verifications.
  • Benefits Administration: process enrollments, changes, and coverage terminations, and provide support during Open Enrollment. Send monthly headcount updates to our international benefits carriers so coverage stays accurate.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Own the processes and documents for onboarding/offboarding across regions, including I-9s and E-Verify for US employees. Assign compliance training and policy acknowledgments to new hires, track completion, and keep signed onboarding checklists on file. You’ll be the glue between HR, IT, employees, and managers to ensure their experience is seamless.
  • Process documentation and improvement: Document our processes and build new workflows, automations, and templates to help us stay organized.

You could be a great match if

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or a similar administrative role
  • Think in systems. You don’t just execute the task; you build the process, so it’s easier the next time.
  • Are energized by complex people problems and look for the answer that is the right choice for the employees and Acoustic.
  • Write clearly so colleagues in other time zones can act without waiting for a follow-up message.
  • Are detail-oriented, can spot patterns in data, and own and fix mistakes when you find them. You get excited to test process changes and iterate.
  • Are excited by a dynamic role with multiple requests and deadlines – no two days are the same.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and care.
  • Are comfortable working across cultures and adapting processes to local rules and norms.
  • Are curious about AI and want to use it to work faster and more accurately. You’ll have access to company AI tools in this role; how would you put these to work?
  • Are eager to grow and learn – this role will manage the core components of our HR work and help contribute to company-wide projects.

Bonus points if you

  • Have experience with an HRIS or ATS tool
  • Have supported employees in more than one country.
  • Have worked in SaaS or tech.
  • Have used AI tools to automate or speed up admin work.

This role may not be a match if

  • You prefer well-defined assignments and are uneasy with ambiguity
  • You don't enjoy repetitive work. Accurate data and documents are key components of this role.
  • You'd rather focus on one project at a time

Compensation and benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Company-sponsored short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance
  • 401(k) program with company match
  • Flexible PTO: take what you need, when you need it
  • Parental leave: 16 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents

Acoustic provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, and we welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities.
