Role Summary

This part-time position will play an important role in developing and managing our human resources infrastructure, overseeing recruiting efforts, and ensuring that employees have a seamless experience from hiring through onboarding and ongoing employment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day administrative responsibilities.

This individual will be responsible for developing HR policies and procedures, maintaining employee handbooks, coordinating payroll, managing recruitment processes, overseeing employee onboarding, and coordinating employee technology and equipment needs. The position will also provide limited administrative support related to invoice management.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish scalable processes that support our continued growth.

  • Oversee employee equipment and technology onboarding, including laptop requisitioning, shipping, and coordination with IT vendors.
  • Track completion of onboarding tasks and identify opportunities to improve the new-hire experience.
  • Manage administrative offboarding procedures, including documentation, equipment returns, system access removal coordination, and final payroll processing.

Payroll & Employee Administration

  • Manage and coordinate regular payroll processing through the company's payroll platform.
  • Review employee hours, compensation changes, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll adjustments for accuracy.
