Westland Insurance Group Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a People & Performance Program Specialist (hybrid)at our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $66,000 to $83,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Why we’ll love You:

  • You have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in a project-focused role, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliverables
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • You’re an excellent communicator and relationship builder who can collaborate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • You have demonstrated experience delivering innovative, engaging, and high-quality work, with strong presentation skills
  • You’re a skilled researcher who can synthesize large volumes of information into clear and easy-to-understand materialsYou’re data-driven and comfortable analyzing and interpreting HR metrics to identify insights and opportunities
  • You bring knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulationsYou’re comfortable working with HR software and systems to support programs and initiatives

Once here, you'll:

  • Support the research, development, coordination, and execution of People & Performance programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Assist in planning and delivering initiatives and project deliverables across employee engagement, M&A, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and other areas of People & Performance
  • Collaborate with People & Performance leadership and teams across the organization to support employee engagement, retention, organizational culture, and the successful integration of programs
  • Review and analyze program data to assess effectiveness, identify insights and opportunities, and recommend improvements or adjustments
  • Develop accurate and timely program documentation, communications, presentations, materials, and resources
  • Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and work-life balance
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including programs, training, awareness activities, and monitoring relevant metrics to identify opportunities and track progress
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on People & Performance programs, processes, and inquiries
