The Opportunity
In this hands-on role – you’ll have a chance to contribute to shaping how your selected People technology portfolio works across our global organisation. Sitting within our diverse People team, you’ll be the go-to expert for a selection of People systems, driving improvements that make life easier for our key stakeholders and people, strengthen our processes and support in enabling smarter business decisions.
Working closely with People, Payroll, Digital Business Technology and business leaders, you’ll identify, investigate and play a key role in the facilitation of system enhancements, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our technology keeps pace with changing business needs. From identifying opportunities for automation to strengthening data governance and reporting, you’ll connect the dots between technology, people and performance.
You’ll be a big-picture thinker who can deliver practical solutions while considering their longer-term impact across our broader People technology ecosystem, ensuring improvements are sustainable, scalable and aligned to future business needs.
The Fit
You’re a people technology specialist who enjoys getting into the detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind. You know how to turn business needs into practical system solutions, bring stakeholders along for the journey and make change happen.
You’ll also bring:
Proven experience owning & supporting HRIS systems, proactive enhancements and ongoing optimisation, ideally with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, HiBob or similar.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge People, Payroll, IS and wider business teams.
Experience in People data governance, privacy, security and reporting, with an understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
A track record of delivering projects and process improvements, including automation, integrations and change initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a drive to simplify the way things work.
A relevant degree in HR, Information Systems, Business or a related field will be valuable, along with the confidence to work independently, manage competing priorities and influence at all levels.
Why Gallagher?
We’re a global business with a strong Kiwi heart, combining the scale and opportunities of an international organisation with a down-to-earth, collaborative culture.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how our People team operates, work with stakeholders across the business and help shape the future of our People technology ecosystem.
You’ll also enjoy a range of benefits, including free onsite parking, a subsidised onsite café, health and wellbeing initiatives, life and disability insurance, and annual bonus opportunities.
Ready to make People technology work smarter? We’d love to hear from you.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and the role may be filled before the closing date.
