Job Description This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to step into an established paid media program and independently manage execution across paid search and paid social channels with minimal ramp-up time. They operate a digitally native, multi-brand e-commerce platform in the home improvement industry and have expanded their portfolio in recent years through new product launches and strategic acquisitions. The ideal professional is an experienced, hands-on operator with strong analytical judgment, deep advertising platform knowledge, and demonstrated experience incorporating AI into everyday marketing workflows. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity designed to provide coverage during a planned leave of absence. The engagement is expected to begin in early September 2026 and continue through December 2026. This is not an advisory or project-only position. The selected professional will take direct ownership of active campaigns, ongoing optimizations, reporting, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for the daily management of active paid search and paid social campaigns while maintaining performance stability during the transition. Monitor budget pacing and adjust bids, campaign structures, targeting, and allocation based on performance data. Manage paid media programs supporting both e-commerce revenue and lead generation objectives. Oversee Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, including Shopping campaigns, feed-driven structures, and automated bidding strategies. Build, execute, and refine prospecting and retargeting campaigns through Meta Ads Manager. Align campaign execution with full-funnel customer acquisition goals. Apply AI-powered tools and automation to improve campaign workflows, bidding processes, analysis, copy development, and reporting. Plan and execute ongoing A/B tests across campaigns, audiences, creative elements, and landing experiences. Maintain an organized testing record and document conclusions, outcomes, and recommended next steps. Prepare recurring performance reports with concise insights, business implications, and actionable recommendations. Adapt reporting for detailed channel reviews and presentations to senior stakeholders. Collaborate with internal marketing, creative, analytics, merchandising, and business teams to keep initiatives aligned. Manage multiple campaigns and priorities independently without requiring close day-to-day supervision. Document campaign structures, operating procedures, tests, and optimization decisions throughout the engagement. Prepare complete handoff materials to support a smooth transition at the end of the assignment. Requirements At least five years of hands-on paid media experience within e-commerce environments. Proven experience managing meaningful advertising budgets across multiple campaigns or brands. Advanced, hands-on expertise with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Experience managing Google Shopping campaigns, product feeds, feed-based account structures, and automated bidding. Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, including prospecting and retargeting campaign execution. Experience managing lead generation campaigns in addition to e-commerce acquisition programs. Strong proficiency with GA4, web analytics, and performance measurement. Demonstrated ability to evaluate performance using metrics such as ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, revenue, cost per lead, and customer acquisition volume. Practical experience using AI tools for marketing analysis, copy iteration, workflow automation, campaign optimization, or reporting. Ability to create and present performance reports using Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical judgment and the ability to translate campaign data into clear recommendations. Excellent organization, documentation, and attention to detail. Ability to take ownership of live accounts quickly and operate effectively with limited onboarding. Capacity to manage several workstreams independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience working in an agency, freelance, consulting, or fixed-term environment is strongly preferred. Experience supporting a multi-brand e-commerce portfolio is highly valuable. Familiarity with Looker, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar business intelligence and visualization tools is preferred. Exposure to Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, or other developing advertising platforms is a plus. Experience coordinating with creative, merchandising, analytics, and senior leadership teams is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when presenting technical campaign findings to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, execution-focused mindset with the confidence to make informed optimization decisions. Benefits Full-time opportunity. 100% remote work arrangement. Fixed-term engagement from early September through December 2026. Opportunity to take ownership of active paid media programs across a diversified e-commerce portfolio. Exposure to both e-commerce and lead generation acquisition strategies.
