Your role within the team Reporting to the Associate Director the Digital Strategy, the Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for eCommerce demand generation for Pet Nutritional Care brands at H&H Group. With the assistance of agency partners, you will be hands-on as an expert practitioner capable of jumping into platforms to build, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns directly. Moving beyond a siloed DTC mindset, you will also lead our brand awareness initiatives in close partnership with the broader Marketing and Channel teams to drive growth across the entire ecosystem including DTC, TikTok, Chewy, Amazon, and Retail. Duties and responsibilities Develop and own the bottom-funnel performance marketing strategy that balances immediate conversions/CAC with LTV. Plan and manage paid campaigns across key channels: Paid Search (Google, Bing), Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), Display, Programmatic, and emerging performance channels, with a focus on driving bottom-funnel conversion across DTC, TikTok Shop, and offsite channels. Own day-to-day campaign management and hands-on execution across all performance channels, ensuring continuous optimization and efficiency. Partner with the Creative team to brief, test, and optimize ad assets that drive conversion and engagement. Collaborate with Brand, Digital, and Ecommerce teams to align campaigns with product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives. Establish and monitor performance KPIs (CAC, ROAS, CPA, LTV, MER, etc.) to evaluate success and guide spend decisions. Run continuous A/B tests on targeting, landing pages, and creative to improve conversion efficiency and customer quality. Build dashboards and reporting frameworks in partnership with the Analytics team for real-time visibility into performance and how digital spend influences both online and offline sales. Identify insights and trends in consumer behavior to inform targeting and creative strategies. Collaborate with CRM and Lifecycle Marketing to ensure alignment between paid acquisition and retention campaigns. Manage day-to-day relationships with performance agency partners and platform representatives to ensure alignment on priorities, pacing, and optimization. Desired Skills and Experience 4–7 years of experience in performance marketing or growth marketing, ideally within a CPG, eCommerce, or DTC brand. Proven track record managing paid search and paid social campaigns at scale ($500k+ monthly budgets). Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Looker/Tableau. Experience with data-driven decision making and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex data clearly. Familiarity with attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling (MMM), and incrementality testing. Knowledge of SEO, email, affiliate, and influencer marketing as part of an integrated growth strategy. Comfort with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools. Strategic thinker with a test-and-learn mindset. Highly analytical and results-oriented. Excellent project management and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Passion for consumer brands and understanding of shopper behavior. Growth in new customer acquisition. Efficiency improvements in CAC and ROAS. Increases in LTV and retention rates. Successful testing and rollout of new paid media channels. Contribution to overall revenue and margin goals.
