Performance Video Editor (DTC / Direct-Response Meta Ads)

We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based direct-to-consumer health and wellness brand in the animal-based, whole-food nutritional supplement space. With millions of customers and a highly recognizable brand identity, we've built our growth on a fast-moving paid-social engine — performance creative, UGC, and practitioner-backed content that we test and scale continuously.
Our marketing operates in creative "pods": small, focused production units that turn out a high volume of ad creative every week. The systems, templates, and brand standards are already in place. We're now scaling the team that keeps that creative pipeline moving.
About The Role
This role exists to keep our performance-creative pipeline running at speed. Our Partner Creative Pod produces roughly 30-40 Meta ads per week, and we need a dedicated editor to own that output — cutting, iterating, packaging, and organizing so our Senior Creative Strategist can stay focused on strategy rather than production.
This is a direct-response editing role, not a brand-film or storytelling role. Success is measured by throughput, reliability, and creative that performs in the feed. If you understand the difference between a cinematic edit and a scroll-stopping ad, and you thrive on a weekly sprint cadence, this is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
Ad Production & Editing
- Edit performance-based video ads for the Partner Creative Pod
- Produce ad variations, iterations, hook swaps, and cutdowns at high volume
- Execute against creative direction quickly and accurately within weekly sprints
Footage & Asset Management
- Ingest, organize, and manage raw footage and creative assets
- Maintain clean, reliable file organization within the creative pod system
- Keep the Meta ads library and related asset libraries current and orderly
Packaging & Delivery
- Package completed videos for delivery and upload
- Capture thumbnails, stills, and supporting assets
- Handle related post-production tasks across the broader marketing department
Sprint Collaboration
- Support weekly sprint priorities and production deadlines
- Communicate progress proactively and flag blockers early
- Assist other creative pods with editing or packaging when bandwidth allows
Required Qualifications
- Proven direct-response or DTC ad editing experience (Meta / Facebook / Instagram)
- Proficiency in the Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere Pro
- Ability to edit at high volume and speed without dropping quality or missing deadlines
- Strong organizational and file-management discipline
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Reliable, committed full-time availability (40 hours per week)
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience scaling ad accounts for a DTC brand
- After Effects, motion graphics, captions, and dynamic text
- Comfort with UGC-style editing and tools like CapCut
- Familiarity with performance metrics (hook rate, thumb-stop rate, retention)
- Experience in the health, wellness, or supplement vertical
