Role Title: Personal Assistant- Asset Management

Division: Rathbones Asset Management

Location: London

Contract: 12-month FTC

Working pattern: Hybrid (with 3-4 days in the office each week)

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to play a key role within our Distribution function, providing high-quality support to senior leaders across Strategic Partnerships and Charities. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, managing busy diaries, coordinating travel and helping to keep priorities running smoothly.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Act as a trusted first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, confidently managing enquiries and ensuring requests are directed appropriately.
  • Proactively manage busy and changing diaries, coordinating priorities and organising engaging team meetings and events.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements, ensuring plans are organised efficiently and run smoothly.
  • Support the preparation of high-quality meeting materials and leadership packs, ensuring everything is ready and available ahead of key meetings.
  • Manage invoices and other day-to-day administration, helping to keep processes organised, accurate and on track.
  • Stay one step ahead of upcoming meetings and events, ensuring leaders are well prepared with the information and materials they need.
  • Contribute to wider Group initiatives, including areas such as Business Continuity Planning, providing the opportunity to gain broader exposure across Rathbones.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider PA team, providing support and cover where required to ensure a seamless service across the Distribution function.

About you

  • Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant within the Asset Management industry is essential.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • A strong commitment to delivering an efficient, organised and high-quality service.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, remaining organised and composed when priorities change.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the confidence to use initiative and find practical solutions.
