Personal Injury Paralegal – Strong Demand Letter Experience

About the Opportunity

Legal Staff Now is partnering with a growing U.S. law firm to hire an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience handling Personal Injury cases, particularly someone who is strong in drafting demand letters and, ideally, has experience supporting cases through litigation.

The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable managing multiple cases, and able to work independently while providing high-quality support to attorneys and clients.

What You'll Do

• Manage and support Personal Injury cases throughout the pre-litigation process.
• Draft, review, and prepare Personal Injury demand letters and demand packages.
• Review medical records, medical bills, police reports, and other case documentation.
• Request and follow up on medical records and bills.
• Organize and maintain accurate case files.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, documentation, and next steps.
• Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, medical providers, and other third parties.
• Assist attorneys with settlement negotiations and case preparation.
• Track case deadlines, medical treatment, expenses, and important case developments.
• Assist with litigation-related tasks for candidates with litigation experience.
• Maintain accurate information in the firm's case management system.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal supporting a U.S. law firm.
• Strong understanding of the Personal Injury case lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience drafting demand letters is required.
• Experience reviewing medical records and medical bills.
• Knowledge of insurance claims and the settlement process.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
• Litigation experience is highly preferred and may qualify for the $2,000/month compensation level.
• Experience with legal case management software such as Litify, Filevine, Clio, SmartAdvocate, MyCase, or similar platforms is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation

• 100% Remote – LATAM
• Monday–Friday
• Schedule aligned with Texas Central Time
• $1,400–$1,500 USD/month for candidates with strong PI paralegal experience
• Up to $2,000 USD/month for candidates with relevant Personal Injury litigation experience
