Pharmacist (Managed Care)

Actalent is partnering with a growing healthcare organization seeking a Pharmacist to support utilization management, prior authorizations, medication therapy management, and population health initiatives across Medi-Cal and Medicare populations.

What You'll Do

• Review prior authorizations, TARs, and specialty medication requests
• Manage medication therapy and formulary compliance
• Support HEDIS, Star Ratings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with CMS, DHCS, NCQA, and URAC standards

What We're Looking For

• PharmD required
• Active California Pharmacist License
• 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
• Experience with managed care, prior authorizations, or utilization review preferred
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal and Medicare Part D
• Experience with EHR and pharmacy systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
