Pharmacy Billing Technician - 1RX-PBT1RX

Green Tree Pharmacy is a long term care pharmacy located in Minonk, IL, which currently serves almost 100 long term care facilities. As we continue to expand our services, we are in need of a full-time Billing Technician. This position will have responsibilities involving the billing of prescriptions. Responsibilities: Answer calls from residents and or/facilities with questions about billing statements and insurance coverage. Process Payments. Adjudication from Medicare Part D plans and Illinois department of Public Aid. Review and update patient profile demographics and correct census changes. Place calls to doctors’ office and facilities, and submit paperwork for prior authorizations, and alternative drug choices. Process monthly Account Payable invoices Order Entry for Account Receivable Invoices Complete post consumption billing for ALF each month.
