The Pharmacy Program Representative is responsible for educating, marketing, and cultivating potential program participants as well as providing onsite comprehensive benefit and advocacy services for patients enrolled in the ProMeds Retail Pharmacy program. The Pharmacy Program Representative?s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Develops and cultivates relationships with targeted referral sources to maximize patient enrollment. * Acts as the participant's advocate in navigating all aspects of the ProMeds Pharmacy program. * Promotes the ProMeds Pharmacy program at patient focused group meetings and events. * Educates INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center patients about the ProMeds Pharmacy program by meeting with them individually and providing informational program materials. * Determines patient program eligibility, obtains patient benefit information, and enrolls eligible patients in the program. * Educates participants about their specific benefit plan and applicable co-pays. * Works with interdisciplinary team to refer ineligible patients to other service providers. * Maintains documentation of all program participants and follows up on outstanding issues to ensure a smooth and timely plan enrollment. * Anticipates changes in an enrolled participant's benefit coverage which impacts co-pays and works to identify payment options such as payment plans, charity care, and/or INTEGRIS Pharmaceutical Assistance Program (IPAP). * Assists the participant in identifying new pharmacy benefit plans as applicable. * Compiles and analyzes patient data which will be utilized to improve the ProMeds Pharmacy program for its participants. * Works closely with pharmacy business coordinator to assist in resolving participant collection issues. * Responsible for insurance verification, prior authorizations and locating resources for financial support. When visiting patient rooms, potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment. This position may have additional hours during the evenings and on the weekends. All applicants will receive consideration regardless of membership in any protected status as defined by applicable state or federal law, including protected veteran or disability status. * Associates degree and/or 4 years of pharmacy or medical experience * Marketing experience preferred. * Knowledge of Cover My Meds, foundation assistance programs, CRX, medication & disease states, pharmacy plans including Medicare B & D and LIS enrollment preferred * EPIC and prior authorization and appeal experience preferred * Strong computer skills. * Strong communication skills. * Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
