Summary
This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in Mississippi. Candidates must hold an active, current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy.
As a Pharmacy Technician supporting our PBM clinical and technical call center, you’ll combine pharmacy knowledge with call center operations to assist members, medical providers, and pharmacy providers. You’ll handle incoming and outgoing calls, appropriately process and prioritize requests, track productivity, and support inquiries received through other communication channels as needed.
Your role in our mission
- Support members, medical providers, and pharmacy providers with pharmacy benefit, claims, and prior authorization inquiries.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls while providing clear, professional, and accurate information.
- Process and prioritize requests appropriately based on established procedures, client requirements, and urgency.
- Research claim status, rejection reasons, medication coverage, benefit information, and appropriate next steps.
- Accurately document interactions and assist with inquiries received through phone, fax, email, web, or other supported communication channels.
What we're looking for
- Must currently reside in Mississippi and hold an active, current Mississippi Pharmacy Technician registration.
- Approximately 3 years of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience in retail, hospital, PBM, managed care, health insurance, specialty, or a similar pharmacy environment.
- Experience with pharmacy claims, prior authorizations, prescription benefits, medication terminology, and member/provider support.
- Strong customer service, communication, computer, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, production-focused remote environment.

The pay range for this position is $31,400.00 - $44,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
