Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Real Estate Photo and Video Editor. The role involves editing real estate photos and videos to highlight property features, including color correction, exposure adjustments, and image enhancement. The editor will assemble and refine video footage, add transitions, titles, and basic motion graphics, and apply consistent color grading to match brand or client guidelines. Daily tasks include preparing deliverables in required formats, organizing and managing media files, following client briefs and style guides, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects. The role also involves collaborating with internal coordinators or clients via online tools to clarify requirements, share progress, and implement feedback.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience in both Photo and Video Editing. Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for real estate or property-focused content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, natural, and appealing visual quality.
• Ability to create and refine Motion Graphics and basic Graphics for titles, callouts, and branding elements.
• Hands-on experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop or similar).
• Attention to detail, ability to follow brand and client guidelines, and strong visual storytelling sense.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and capacity to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in real estate media or a portfolio demonstrating relevant photo and video editing work is highly preferred.

Role Responsibilities

Photo and Video Production & Editing
Edit property walkthrough and tour videos to a professional broadcast standard
Produce engaging short-form content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Create long-form property showcase videos for websites and listing portals (Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket)
Develop branded video content including testimonials, agency promos, and market update reports
Add motion graphics, lower-thirds, captions, and on-screen text to enhance viewer experience
Sync and mix audio including voiceovers, background music, and ambient sound
Property-Specific Content
Work with aerial/drone footage to create dynamic exterior property overviews
Edit virtual tour content and 360° walkthroughs for integration into listings
Produce 'New to Market' and 'Just Sold' announcement videos for social channels
Create neighbourhood and lifestyle videos highlighting local amenities, schools, and transport links
Edit new build developer content including CGI walkthroughs and site progress updates
Collaboration & Workflow
Liaise with estate agents, photographers, and marketing managers to understand brief requirements
Manage and organise a large library of raw footage, assets, and completed projects
Deliver projects to agreed deadlines, managing multiple edits simultaneously
Provide input on shoot planning, including camera angles, lighting, and storytelling approach
Adapt content for different formats and platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios and file specs.
