Photography Intern (Spring 2027)
About Us
Purpose Brands 414 (PB414) is a faith-based nonprofit organization that creates and stewards redemptive initiatives where people experience dignity, hope, and the love of Jesus.
Through initiatives that currently include Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique, Bold Lives Men's Thrift, and Thrift Out, we create ministry opportunities that meet tangible needs, restore communities, develop leaders, and faithfully steward resources for lasting Kingdom impact.
Our vision is to see every person flourish in relationship with Jesus.
Internship Overview
- This internship offers a reciprocal opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience for the student while contributing meaningfully to the mission of PB414 by capturing the weekly collections that bring Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique, and occasionally Bold Lives Men's Thrift, to life online, helping shoppers discover the beauty in secondhand and connecting our community to the mission behind every purchase.
- This experience is ideal for students studying photography, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, or fashion merchandising, or anyone pursuing a career in fashion, product, or commercial photography or content creation.
- Location: All photoshoots, including modeled collections and flat lays, take place in person at the Purpose Hub. Shoot scheduling, model coordination, and photo editing can be completed remotely.
- Schedule and time commitment:
- Approximately 6-8 hours per week
- Flexible schedule; the intern sets weekly shoot dates in coordination with volunteer models
- Start date: To be confirmed, exact dates coordinated upon acceptance of offer.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
- Reports to: Social Media Manager

- Organize, label, and upload final images to Dropbox on an agreed timeline
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and content team on shot lists, mood boards, and creative direction
- Assist with additional photoshoot opportunities as they arise, such as special drops, events, store displays, and behind-the-scenes content
- Optional: capture short Reels of the outfits being photographed for Instagram and TikTok
