Provides resources and communicates updates to ensure physicians remain informed of regulatory and procedural requirements. Coordinates with coding, CDI, and other stakeholders to share coding review findings and support targeted training needs. Ensures compliance with established guidelines while contributing to process improvements that enhance documentation quality and accuracy. Essential Functions • Communicates coding and CDI review findings and documentation feedback to physicians and clinical teams. • Provides updates on procedural changes and regulatory standards impacting coding and clinical documentation. • Assists in developing and delivering educational materials to address documentation gaps and promote compliance. • Coordinates with coding and CDI staff to identify areas requiring physician education and support. • Tracks and documents participation in educational sessions to ensure compliance with requirements. • Collects feedback from physicians and staff to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives. • Ensures confidentiality and compliance with institutional, state, and federal documentation standards. • Collaborates with team members to support process improvements in physician outreach and education. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s or equivalent experience Experience Requirement: 2 +years of experience An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Certifications & Licensures: RHIA Certification, CPMA, CCDS, Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred Working Conditions A.
