Piping Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer/ Piping Design Engineer to join my client on a remote working basis. The client is based in The Netherlands.

The client is interested to speak with Piping Designers who would be interested to join a client working on heavy industry engineering projects, carrying out Piping Design, 2D design, 3D modelling and P&IDs.

The client is a provider for clean energy solutions, primarily aimed at the chemical and petrochemical sectors, they are an engineering technology provider and licensor, you would be involved in full package delivery.

THE CLIENT WILL ACCEPT FREELANCE and PERMANENT CANDIDATES – English Speaking

START: October or November 2026

LOCATION: Remote Working + Rotterdam (client base)

FREELANCE DURATION: 12-24 Months

FREELANCE RATES: Good market rates – happy with home based freelance company payroll

SALARY: €60,000 – €85,000 Euros per annum + holiday + package (Remote working + Travel)

Mechanical Design Engineer – Piping Designer – Clean Energy Projects

• Mechanical, Piping or Static Mechanical design or engineering background
• Chemical, Petrochemical or Oil&Gas background (ideally onshore process plants, process upgrades, carbon reduction, static equipment)
• Knowledge of 2D design, 2D layout, and 3D modelling (Auotdesk suite, AutoCAD, PDMS, CADWorx)
• Experience from concept engineering through to detailed design

The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for the piping designer to join their teams, they have the opportunity to interview and offer the successful candidate at short notice.

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to travel to The Rotterdam region as required. The client is happy with remote home based working.
