Planner

Job Overview As a Planner for Cos Bar, you will drive profitable product planning through data-driven forecasting, inventory optimization, and assortment strategy. You will partner with Buying, Ecommerce, Stores, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to ensure stock levels meets customer demand at a sku level while maximizing inventory efficiency and staying aligned with business budgets. Your goal is to turn sales and inventory data into clear recommendations and actionable plans. The role will report to the Vice President of Planning. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Analyze sales, inventory, and business trends to identify risks, opportunities, and action items Pull, validate, and interpret data from reporting systems to support business decisions Support the development of budgets and forecasts - recommending adjustments based on performance and channel trends Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions (e.g., demand shifts, events impact, slow-moving inventory) Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business recaps and performance reports Maintain KPI reporting to track sell-through, inventory productivity, OTB progress, and forecast accuracy Present insights and recommendations during business reviews and planning meetings Ensure the accuracy and integrity of planning data, reports, and system inputs Monitor inventory levels, sell-through, replenishment timing, and stock coverage to optimize inventory productivity Support Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and inventory investment decisions Collaborate with buyers to refine replenishment priorities Coordinate with cross functional teams to support marketing activities and ensure plans align with inventory availability Key Outcomes / Success Metrics Improved forecast accuracy and planning reliability Higher sell-through and reduced excess/aging inventory Strong OTB discipline and efficient inventory investment Clear, actionable reporting and recommendations across teams ​
