In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Support the creation, maintenance, and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Review and release work orders in accordance with production priorities and schedule requirements. Validate work order readiness prior to release, including bill of material (BOM) accuracy, routing accuracy, material availability, and availability of required subassemblies. Review order requirements for completeness and readiness, coordinating with Customer Care, Engineering, and customers to obtain missing information, clarify technical requirements, and resolve discrepancies. Work closely with Engineering to identify and implement approved material substitutions when shortages or supply disruptions occur. Monitor and manage work orders through the entire production lifecycle from release through shipment. Actively manage aging WIP by identifying root causes, driving corrective actions, and ensuring timely order completion. Partner with manufacturing leadership to balance material availability, labor capacity, and production priorities. Verify all material issues, completions, backflushes, subassembly transactions, and inventory movements have been properly processed before closing work orders. Communicate production priorities, shortages, schedule risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders across the organization. Interact with all levels of plant and corporate personnel. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, production planning, materials planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience. Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and inventory transactions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Previous experience with Oracle ERP. APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM preferred).
