As a Planning Team Leader, you will lead a team responsible for strategic, tactical, and mill planning activities across manufactured and sourced products. Based at Enstra Mill, you will play a critical role in delivering excellent customer service, optimizing inventory performance, and driving planning excellence across the South African region.

About You

You are a collaborative supply chain professional with strong planning expertise and a passion for developing people, improving processes, and delivering business results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and develop a team of planners responsible for strategic, tactical, and mill planning activities across in-house produced products and bought-in goods
• Deliver target customer service levels across the South African region
• Develop and execute inventory management strategies and tools to achieve inventory and service objectives
• Ensure effective management of raw material and semi-finished inventory levels at mill locations
• Support regional promotional activities to ensure product availability and successful execution
• Drive collaboration with regional affiliates to improve service, availability, communication, portfolio management, and planning execution
• Support statistically managed inventory initiatives focused on year-over-year inventory improvements
• Champion best practices and standardized Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes across Product Supply

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning, inventory management, or supply chain teams
• Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and customer service processes
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to drive process improvements and influence change across multiple functions
• Excellent analytical skills
• SAP or RPO knowledge would be advantageous, with both PowerBi and Excel.
