The Role As a Platform Engineer, you will be a member of the Veeva Systems’ Professional Services group providing roadmap and technical architecture design for solutions and tools needed for project teams implementing Veeva applications and Vault Platform cloud solutions to companies in the life sciences industry. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations, deployments, system monitoring, security patching, and incident resolution for hosted integrations, while supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) for 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 compliant integrations. You will work closely with other Veeva teams (Services, Product) to ensure customer success today and in the future and represent Veeva’s Global Technical Services across multiple workstreams. This is a remote, full-time, permanent role. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in India. Veeva does not provide sponsorship for employment visas for this position. What You’ll Do Represent Global Technical Services across multiple workstreams (e.g. solution design, data migration, systems integration, etc.) Develop internal and external tools to help our customers and our consultants in performing integrations and migrations Own the roadmap, release planning and product lifecycle for the tools Design and implement cloud-based integrations using REST APIs Work closely with stakeholders to establish solutions at the business and technical level Gather functional and technical requirements to support business processes; translate requirements into technical design Requirements 5+ years of development experience in Software Development Life Cycle using Java, SQL and building solutions & interfaces using REST APIs Programming experience with Spring, Maven and AWS cloud platform Ability to understand functional & business needs and provide technical solutions that can be developed and integrated with Quality, Clinical, Regulatory and Safety systems of Life Sciences industry 3+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience Experience using AI-powered development tools or CLI assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or similar) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Nice to Have Development experience with Veeva Vault SDK Proven track record supporting high-impact global system implementation programs as a consultant or IT lead Perks & Benefits Insurance, health & wellness programs Flexible vacation policies 1% charitable giving program Additional annual leave over Christmas break #LI-RemoteIndia #LI-Associate Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
