Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a high-ownership, execution-oriented Platform Engineering Lead to drive enterprise integration strategy, design scalable standard patterns, and connect SaaS platforms with critical enterprise systems. Operating with a true "platform mindset"—focusing on reusable architecture over one-off deliveries—you will bridge the gap between business divisions and technical implementation.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in API governance and solution architecture, paired with the stakeholder management skills required to navigate a complex, fast-paced matrix environment and bring order to ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Standardization & Governance: Define, document, and drive the enterprise-wide adoption of standardized integration patterns, API governance frameworks, and data flow architectures across multiple delivery teams.

  • SaaS & Enterprise Integration: Architect and manage robust integrations between core SaaS platforms and enterprise ecosystem layers (identity management, data pipelines, and downstream business consumers), emphasizing high reliability and security.

  • Business Translation & Fast Execution: Partner directly with business divisions to understand commercial needs, rapidly translating business requirements into pragmatic technical integration designs and accelerated implementation paths.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Leadership: Interface effectively across a matrixed organizational structure, aligning technical strategies with business priorities and serving as a key liaison between business leads and engineering teams.

  • Reliability & Scalability: Establish operational guidelines for API performance, error handling, retry mechanisms, and system resilience across all platform data flows.



Requirements

  • Total Experience: 5+ years of overall IT/Software Engineering experience.

  • Solution & Integration Architecture: Minimum 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in integration architecture, API design, data flow modelling, and core integration patterns.

  • SaaS Integration & Identity: Proven track record of integrating enterprise SaaS platforms with enterprise IT systems, including identity and access management (IAM) and central data layers.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability to build relationships and influence outcomes in complex, fast-paced matrix environments.

  • Platform Mindset: Demonstrated ability to build scalable, repeatable platform capabilities rather than point-to-point "one-off" solutions.

  • Language & Communication: Full fluency in written and spoken English, with clear capability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Core Competencies: Growth mindset, high degree of ownership, execution focus, and comfort navigating ambiguous requirements.
