Platform Engineering Manager

What’s in store for you: You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers: - 6PB+ Ceph storage - 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems - 300k+ service requests/sec processed - 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed The team waiting for you: Oxylabs' Platform is the backbone that lets the rest of engineering move fast and ship reliably. Our code-first approach values solving problems through programming rather than manual processes, and we're impelmenting AI-powered tooling to further enhance our capabilities. We value effective delegation, timely delivery, and incremental improvements. You'll have a significant influence on our DevOps practices and tooling choices. In this role, you’ll: Lead one of our existing Platform teams (infra/DevOps) and keep delivery consistent and predictable. Own people leadership - hire, mentor, and develop engineers while keeping the team healthy and performing. Manage capacity, risk, and dependencies: plan realistically, unblock the team quickly, and handle escalations early. Align scope and priorities with the Director of Infrastructure, keeping stakeholders aligned and avoiding churn. Strengthen predictable operations - make sure ownership, incident flow, and escalation paths are clear and well-practiced. Your skills & experience: Proven experience leading an engineering team (hiring, coaching, performance, delivery ownership). Strong stakeholder management: can translate business needs into a clear plan and keep people aligned. Pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset: can make trade-offs, push standards, and improve reliability without slowing the team down. Nice to have: Background in platform infrastructure. Hands on Engineering experience. Salary & Benefits: Gross salary: 5500 EUR/month - 7600 EUR/gross. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
